Emergency Assistance

The Emergency Assistance Program provides limited financial and material assistance to individuals and families in times of crisis. Material assistance can be provided for food, clothing, furniture, household items, and personal hygiene items. Financial assistance is available for
medicine, rent, transportation,
and other needs. 

NOTE: Robertsdale residents in need of utility assistance may qualify for special funding through the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Program to help them pay on their bill. 

Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. however, walk-ins are welcome. 
Our case workers will meet with you to discuss your concerns and how we may be able to help you. 

To help us assist you, please bring the following documents to your appointment:

• Current state issued photo identification for each household member, 18 and older
• Current lease or mortgage statement for documentation if living in public housing
• All current monthly bills
• Names, birthdates, and social security cards for everyone in the household
• Proof of income: 4 consecutive pay stubs, proof of SSI/SSD benefits, TANF or SNAP award letters
