The mission of the Office of Disability Ministries and Services is to assist people with cognitive, physical, and other developmental disabilities to understand, develop, and live out their lives as completely as possible regardless of disability type, severity, or age of onset. We provide educational, spiritual, pastoral, sacramental, and social programs, fostering full inclusion of persons with disabilities into the Church and community. Some of the services provided include:

Catholic Social Services happily announces the hiring of Mrs. Jeanie Still to lead our Disability and Ministry Services in Mobile. She is available to work with parishioners or non-parishioners who have intellectual and developmental disabilities; persons with mental illness; persons blind or visually impaired, as well as persons who are facing other physical challenges. If those in need of services are unable to come to our office, Mrs. Still is available to make a home visit. Group activities will resume in March.
Beginning March 2nd, Mrs. Still will be in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Our Disabilities Ministry had an eventful time during this Respect Life Month.
Participants attended the Mobi-Con Convention, played mini-golf at Surge Entertainment and had a spook-tacular time at Trunk or Treat/Halloween parties.
